Print Then Cut can't read the registration marks: what to check
The machine reads the black marks around your print with a light sensor. Faint, gray, or shiny marks are the usual problem, and those come from the printer and the paper.
The fix
- 1Reprint with print quality set to High, not draft.
- 2Check that the black ink prints truly black: run a nozzle check.
- 3Use matte paper, or cover the marks on glossy paper with matte tape.
- 4Print at 100% scale with borderless off, and place the sheet flat at the top-left of the mat.
- 5Keep bright light and sun off the machine while it reads.
