Privacy Policy

The Maker Playbook collects as little as it can. We don't sell your data for money. You can opt out of ad measurement at any time.
What we collect
- Buyers: your email and order details (what you bought, amount, date, order number) from our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Free guide sign-ups: your email, the page you signed up on, and which ad or link brought you (if any).
- Everyone: a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit abuse (for example, too many attempts).
Cookies and ads
Essential cookies (always on): your access (so you stay signed in), your free-guide sign-up, which ad or link brought you here (kept on our own site for 30 days), and checkout (to connect your payment to your browser).
Ad measurement: we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to learn which ads bring people here. They tell Meta about page visits, sign-ups, when checkout starts, and when a purchase happens (amount, and your email in scrambled/hashed form). This may count as “sharing” personal information for advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out with “Opt out” on our notice or the “Your Privacy Choices” link, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically.
Emails
Buyers get emails about their purchase (access link, refunds). Free-guide sign-ups get the guide and a few tips. Every non-essential email lets you unsubscribe: reply “unsubscribe” and we'll remove you.
How long we keep it
- Your buyer account stays while your access is active, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require, even after you delete your account (without your email).
- Free-guide sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- System logs (for example, “access email sent”) are kept to answer support and billing questions.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the site: our payment processor, our email provider, our hosting provider, and Meta for ad measurement as described above. They may process data in other countries, under their own security and privacy commitments. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Email support@themakerplaybook.shop from the address you used with us. We answer within 15 days.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
The whole site uses HTTPS. Access works through private links instead of passwords. Please don't share your access link.
