Why is Contour grayed out?
Contour hides cut lines inside a single layer. With several layers or a group selected, or a layer that has only one outline, there's nothing for it to do, so it stays gray.
The fix
- 1Select just one layer.
- 2If it's a group, Ungroup it or Weld it into one shape.
- 3Click Contour and click the parts you don't want cut.
