Step by step
- 1In Design Space: Upload → Upload Image → choose the SVG. It opens with every color as its own layer.
- 2Resize with the lock closed, using the size chart below for your project.
- 3Cut each color from its own sheet: 3 colors means 3 mats.
- 4Weed away the extra vinyl with a hook tool, pulling in the direction of the cuts.
- 5Apply the layers from the bottom up, in the order below, lining each one up before you press it down.

- 1. Green trees
- 2. Dark tree
- 3. Brown trunks

The file opens at 5.2 × 4.2 in. Typical sizes:

Material and care
- Permanent adhesive vinylWait 24–48 hours before washing. Hand washing is the safest; skip the dishwasher unless the vinyl maker says it can go in.
- Removable adhesive vinylIndoors only; not made for frequent washing.
- Printable sticker vinyl or paper (Print Then Cut)Water resistant is not dishwasher safe: hand wash. Wait 24–48 hours after applying.
- CardstockKeep dry. Glue layers with a thin line of craft glue or foam dots for depth.
