Step by step
- 1In Design Space: Upload → Upload Image → choose the SVG. It opens with every color as its own layer.
- 2Resize with the lock closed, using the size chart below for your project.
- 3Cut it from one sheet of vinyl or cardstock.
- 4For iron-on: turn on Mirror for every mat and place the shiny side down.
- 5Weed away the extra vinyl with a hook tool, pulling in the direction of the cuts.
- 6Apply it with transfer tape (adhesive vinyl) or a heat press (iron-on).

Material and care
- Iron-on (heat transfer vinyl, HTV)Wait 24 hours before washing. Wash and dry inside out, no bleach; iron only on the reverse side.
- Sublimation-style inks (infusible sheets)Wash inside out in cold water, tumble dry low, no bleach or fabric softener.
- Permanent adhesive vinylWait 24–48 hours before washing. Hand washing is the safest; skip the dishwasher unless the vinyl maker says it can go in.
- Removable adhesive vinylIndoors only; not made for frequent washing.
- Printable sticker vinyl or paper (Print Then Cut)Water resistant is not dishwasher safe: hand wash. Wait 24–48 hours after applying.
